Move This World provides social emotional learning (SEL) with the use of interactive videos, movement, and creative expression to help students and educators develop emotional intelligence skills for long-term wellbeing. Schools implement Move This World’s curriculum seamlessly into their day with short evidence-based videos that introduce a common language and methods for expressing emotion. Move This World’s programs lead to deeper self awareness, stronger relationships, effective communication and a culture of safety and support.

The folks at Move This World have a library of hundreds of 5-8 minute videos that are played in schools across the US at around the same time each morning. Videos were stored on an online server and embedded on a learning platform. They needed a new VOD Streaming solution that will allow them to embed our videos on their learning platform and streamed on-demand to various device types and through connections with variying bandwitdh. In addition, they needed the ability to add video captions to each file and select a custom thumbnail for each video. They also need the option to replace or update video files without destroying or altering the video path, so all embedded instances are updated across our education platform.

The team wanted an VOD Solution that is safe, secure, easy to use and maintain. Minmini implemented a Video On Demand solution on the AWS platform using by customizing a Amazon CloudFormation template. We also built a custom tool that assists in the management of all the published media by interfacing with Amazonn DynamoDb.

The solution is currently in production.
